Hey guys and gals, here's the deal.  I've got a masters in creative writing and have written several stories with graphic novels in mind.  At the latest Comic Con I went to an Image panel and asked how many projects they greenlight from submissions, and they told me pretty much none.  This is how I WAS going about it.

Now I'm looking to self publish (I'd be paying for the publishing fees) and NEED AN ARTIST. One that isn't going to flake (as has been all my run ins so far).

It would be a standard contract (to cover both our backs). You own the art, I own the story. Profits split 50/50 (after covering the very nominal self publishing fees). The point of all this is to have a publisher pick us up so we don't have to worry about any of that.  Self publishing is the way to get discovered, as I was told at the Con.

Anyway here's a few brief summaries of the scripts I'd like to get artists for.  Please leave me a message if you're dedicated, a hard worker, and interested.  I can provide you with examples of my work if you like.

1. Action Adventure and sometimes comical story starring familiar characters from nursery rhymes, and other classic works of literature. Fantastical and whimsical art to fit the story and it's characters. These people kill each other.    *Gotta be in it for the long haul because this story would span over several volumes (already written).

2. A mix of greek mythology as as if it were corporate America. Action adventure with lots of humor. Fun cartoon like art that can also be moving when it needs to be. (already written)

3. A high fantasy story, minus all the typical fantasy stuff (trolls, warriors, wizards. Instead think lumberjacks, girl scouts, and magical hobos).   The same styles as above.  (already written)
